Agriculture is central to India's economy, food security and rural livelihoods. Despite its significance, many of the issues, innovations and stories emerging from the sector remain underrepresented in mainstream media.
IndiAgri.in was established to bridge this gap through credible journalism, in-depth reporting and meaningful engagement with stakeholders across the agricultural value chain. We believe Indian agriculture deserves informed coverage that goes beyond headlines, highlights ground realities, examines policy decisions and brings promising solutions into focus.
Our aim is to make agricultural information accessible, encourage informed debate and strengthen public understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
IndiAgri.in provides comprehensive coverage of the agricultural sector, connecting policy developments with field-level realities, scientific advancements and emerging opportunities.
Our coverage includes:
Agricultural Policy and Economy: Government policies, schemes, farm prices, markets, trade, credit, insurance and farmers' incomes.
Farmers and Rural Communities: The experiences, concerns and aspirations of farmers, women, rural youth, tribal communities and agricultural workers.
Crops and Allied Sectors: Food grains, pulses, oilseeds, horticulture, plantation crops, livestock, dairy, poultry and fisheries.

Through our coverage, we seek to connect information with insight, policy with practice, and innovation with the people it is intended to serve.
At IndiAgri.in, we believe meaningful progress in agriculture requires collaboration among farmers, policymakers, scientists, industry leaders, cooperatives, civil society and the media.
Alongside our digital media work, we facilitate knowledge-sharing and stakeholder engagement through agricultural conferences, summits, policy dialogues and discussions that bring diverse voices to the table.
Our flagship initiative, the National Sustainable Agriculture Summit & Awards, is held annually on 7 August. Three editions have been organised so far, in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
The summit provides a platform for discussions on sustainable agriculture, climate change, agricultural innovation, policy priorities and the evolving needs of India's farm sector. It also recognises individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions to agricultural development and sustainability.
Through our Regional Policy Dialogues, we take conversations on agricultural policy and sustainability closer to regional stakeholders, local institutions and farming communities.
Six dialogues have been organised across India:
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Chandigarh, covering Haryana and Punjab
Nagpur, Maharashtra
Patna, covering Bihar and Jharkhand
Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh
Alwar, Rajasthan
These dialogues encourage region-specific discussions, facilitate knowledge exchange and help bring local perspectives into wider agricultural conversations.
We envision an agricultural ecosystem where farmers' voices are heard, evidence informs decisions, innovation reaches the field and sustainable practices contribute to resilient rural livelihoods.
IndiAgri.in is committed to strengthening agricultural journalism, encouraging constructive dialogue and bringing greater visibility to the people, ideas and initiatives shaping Indian agriculture.
Our goal is simple: to give Indian agriculture the attention, understanding and respect it deserves.
